Introduction to Dog Grooming
5 Day course - £700

This course is designed for the complete beginner wishing to gain a sure grounding in the skills required to progress into the dog grooming profession. This taster course can expanded into the dog grooming certificate at a later date. A certificate of achievement is issued on successful completion.

Coat types and styles
Dog Parasites
Nail structure, care and clipping
Ear structure and care
De-matting
Bathing and Drying techniques

Dog Grooming Certificate
10 Day course - £1,300

This course is designed to equip the beginner with the skills and knowledge required to become a dog grooming professional.

Course content

The tools of the trade and how to use them.
Coat types and styles
Dog Parasites
Nail structure, care and clipping
Ear structure and care
De-matting
Bathing and Drying techniques
5 or more pet clips (tailored to your requirements)
Further practical experience of the pet and breed specific clips and owner adaptations. 
Administration and business advice.

 
At least 10 full grooms will have been achieved on completion of this course.

Professional Dog Grooming Diploma
15 Day course - £1,800

This course covers all units contained in the 10 day course.  Additionally we pay particular attention to increasing your competence, confidence and therefore speed.  You will be taught to complete the grooms in line with realistic salon timings and liaise with the customer directly.  All this safe in the knowledge that you are still completely supported by the Trainer. 

2 Day Breed Specific Training - £200

This course includes 2 full grooms of your own dog, and is aimed at pet owners who would like to gain the knowledge and ability to competently groom a specific breed.  
The type of coat your dog has.
The correct tools to deal with your pet’s particular type of coat and how to use them. 
How to style and clip that particular breed of dog.
Nail and ear care and cleaning. 
De-matting. 
Bathing and drying.

1 Day Breed Specific Maintenance - £120

This course includes 1 full groom of your own dog, and is aimed at pet owners who would like to gain the knowledge and ability to maintain the coat of their dog between professional grooms.

The condensed and intense
5 days - £800

This course is only suitable for either someone with previous grooming experience wishing to refresh their knowledge prior to re entering the profession or those wishing to transfer hairdressing skills into those of a canine grooming professional.
The content of the course can be tailored to the individuals needs and is thus a truly bespoke learning package.
