We have a number of Groomer Training courses available, suitable for those who want to set up a Dog Grooming business or for dog owners or breeders who want to improve their skills and groom from home.
Many of our clients have gone on to set up their own successful businesses. We offer full accompanied training, working with models of all breeds. Our training is led by Neville Lawrence an expert dog groomer with over 10 years experience.
We have residential courses available if required, and can provide local accommodation if you live outside the area.
Dog Grooming Courses Available
Introduction to Dog Grooming
5 Day course - £700
This course is designed for the complete beginner wishing to gain a sure grounding in the skills required to progress into the dog grooming profession. This taster course can expanded into the dog grooming certificate at a later date. A certificate of achievement is issued on successful completion.
Dog Grooming Certificate
10 Day course - £1,300
This course is designed to equip the beginner with the skills and knowledge required to become a dog grooming professional.
Professional Dog Grooming Diploma
15 Day course - £1,800
This course covers all units contained in the 10 day course. Additionally we pay particular attention to increasing your competance, confidence and therefore speed. You will be taught to complete grooms in line with realistic salon timings and liaise with the customer directly. All this safe in the knowledge that you are still completely supported by the Trainer.
2 Day Breed Specific Training - £200
This course is aimed at pet owners who would like to gain the knowledge and ability to maintain, to the highest standard, the coat of their own dog.
The Condensed and Intense
5 days - £800
This course is only suitable for either someone with previous grooming experience wishing to refresh their knowledge prior to re entering the profession or those wishing to transfer hairdressing skills into those of a canine grooming professional.
